Program Overview

Bachelor of Accounting is a specialised undergraduate degree that equips you with in depth technical and analytical skills to measure, report and interpret financial information for business and government organisations, while integrating related disciplines such as law, economics, finance and ethics to address real-world challenges. You’ll master areas such as financial accounting, management accounting, auditing, taxation, corporate law and business law, alongside options to study minors or electives in fields like economics, data analytics, business information systems or sustainability. Accredited with professional bodies including CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants ANZ (CAANZ) and/or the Institute of Public Accountants (depending on the university), the degree also offers opportunities for workplace-integrated learning, industry placements or hands-on client based projects. On graduating, you’ll be eligible for roles such as accountant, auditor, financial analyst, tax adviser or business consultant across private, public or non-profit sectors in Australia and internationally.
